Life's Questions
  • The answers to life’s questions lie inside you. All you have to do is look, listen and trust.
  • If we are open-mindedly seeking the truth about life and God, we must leave room for mysteries and unanswered questions. Life is a continuous learning process, so instead of searching for some explanation or reason for the way things are, we can place our trust in God’s answer, which will be revealed to us when we ready. The worthwhile and important things in life - wisdom and happiness in particular - are simply not the sorts of things one can chase after and grab. They are instead the sorts of things that come to us where we are, if we let them - if we stop trying too hard and let things happen as they need to. — Benjamin Hoff
  • Life is a struggle for self-understanding. God has bestowed us days and nights just to recognize ourselves.
  • Before we start crying and praying for the universe to take away our trials and tribulations, we might more closely examine what it has given us. Maybe, the good things are tests, possibly rather difficult ones at that, and the bad things are gifts to help us grow: problems to solve, situations to learn to avoid, habits to change, conditions to accept, lessons to learn, things to transform - all opportunities to find wisdom, happiness, and truth. — Benjamin Hoff
